A Taste of Italy was founded in 2005 by Pasquale Cavaliere and his wife Christine Hewitt. Their purpose was to become a leading importer for medium to high quality Italian wines in Ireland.

To achieve the above we ensure the majority of our wines come from small, family run vineyards where quality is always considered to be far more important than quantity. Each of these suppliers has direct contact with Pasquale. Many of them have also come to see how their products are received in the Irish market. This touch of being able to introduce a producer into a restaurant creates a better familiarity with the product. This results in a higher ability to present the wines, in turn, to their clients.
