The High Court has refused to strike out a claim by businessman Patrick Kearney alleging former Davy stockbrokers employees misled him over the onward sale of bonds he had held in Anglo Irish Bank.
A young Isle of Man businessman who launched a surprise 2021 takeover bid for Dublin-based Stobart Air, which then operated the Aer Lingus regional service, has appeared in court on the island accused of a multi-million euro fraud in relation to the planned deal.
